Celebrating Czech Heritage Month! On Sunday, October 5th, New Tabor SPJST Youth Club made 40 dozen kolaches at the Hus Camp in honor of Czech Heritage Month with support of Lodge #17 SPJST and Lodge #277 CSA (Czechoslovak Society of America). The kolaches were given to Caldwell ISD campuses for administrators, teachers, and staff, Georgetown 4th grade teachers, Burleson County Sheriff’s Department, and Caldwell Police Department. We had a special instructor, Kolache Queen, Mrs. Lydia Faust. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! We also had special helpers-Betty Suehs, Youth Leader Holly Narro, Susan Skrabanek Assistant Youth Leader, Ann Sebesta, Chair of Kolache Bake Show Committee, parents, grandparents, and SPJST Lodge #17 and CSA Lodge #277 adult members. The youth members learned the art of kolache making and did great!
