When we started planning our first Red, White & Drive Classic, we had a vision of bringing people together for something bigger than an event.

We wanted to bring together a community that believes our Veterans deserve more than our gratitude. They deserve action. They deserve support. They deserve to know that when life gets difficult, there are people willing to stand beside them.

And that is exactly what you showed us.

To every person who bought a ticket, brought a friend, donated, volunteered, shared our event, participated, or simply showed up — thank you.

You could have spent your time anywhere that day. You chose to spend it with us, supporting our Veterans and believing in what Building Stronger Veterans is working to accomplish.

Today our Founder and CEO Adam Arriero had the privilege of attending the Gold Star Families Memorial Dedication at the Caldwell Veterans' Memorial Hall. It was a beautiful and moving ceremony honoring the families who have endured the loss of a loved one in service to our country, while remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

May we never forget their sacrifice, and may we always remember and support the families who carry that sacrifice with them every day.

ENDING VETERAN HOMELESSNESS TAKES MORE THAN ONE ORGANIZATION — IT TAKES A COMMUNITY.

Yesterday, Building Stronger Veterans was honored to be represented by our Director of Health and Wellness, Dr. Virginia Holmgren, and our Co-Founder and Director of Development, Matt Lyons, at the Treasure Valley Veterans Stand Down at the Ford Idaho Center.

It was an incredible opportunity to spend time with Veterans from across our community, hear their stories, learn more about their needs, and share the mission of Building Stronger Veterans.

Virginia and Matt also had the opportunity to connect with several outstanding nonprofit organizations and community leaders doing important work throughout the Treasure Valley. We believe some of those conversations are the beginning of strong partnerships and future collaboration that will allow us to better serve Veterans throughout Idaho and beyond.

Events like the Treasure Valley Veterans Stand Down reinforce something we believe deeply at BSV: none of us can do this work alone. When nonprofits, community partners, businesses, volunteers, and Veterans come together with a shared purpose, we create a stronger network of support for the men and women who served our country.

We are grateful for everyone who took the time to stop by, introduce themselves, share their story, learn about Building Stronger Veterans, or simply have a conversation with us.

Yesterday wasn’t just about making connections. It was about building relationships that can become resources, partnerships that can create opportunities, and a community that refuses to leave its Veterans behind.

We look forward to continuing to build those relationships and working together toward a future where no Veteran is left without a place to call home.
