We have had an amazing outpouring of support & several more Memorial donations to help purchase new White Plastic tables and Chairs to replace the old wood tables & steel chairs!
Round tables will be used upstairs & long tables will be used in the basement. New chairs will go upstairs.
* My first post was for an Anonymous Family Memorial that purchased 4 white round tables & 16 matching chairs.
* The next donation to follow was a Family Memorial for Barbara & Frank Lippens of 4 white chairs.
*The next donation was a Family Memorial for Eddie Scott of 4 - 6' long tables & 4 chairs
* The next donation was a Family Memorial for Allyn Weiss of 4 - 6' long tables and several additional chairs.
* Through a special business opportunity CALCO was able to purchase an additional 16 - 6' tables for $400 that was paid for out of our Donations Account. If anyone wishes to Sponsor any of these tables or to purchase chairs with a donation of $25 each we will be able to put the funds back in the account for additional chairs, etc.
ADDITIONALLY: If anyone is interested in purchasing any of the old wood tables or steel chairs we will be offering those for a small donation to the Fund. Contact Janet or Michele if interested!

We will take any volunteer help to unload the 24 new tables to the basement, do set up & to fold & stack the old tables for disposal sale.

The CALCO Board wants to THANK our very generous anonymous donor who donated 8 new round tables and 32 matching chairs for the CALCO Ballroom! What an amazing way to honor their family and to help us continue our efforts to replace old worn out fixtures! We thank them and their support of our efforts to keep the CALCO a wonderful center for our Community!

CALCO Sunday Night Dinners will return March 29th from 4: to 6:30 pm. Serving in the basement for eat in or carry-out and the bar will be open upstairs if you wish to eat up there, play cards or socialize.
Meal includes a delicious smoked pork chop, baked beans, mac & cheese and dessert. $12 per meal.
Gift certificates will be honored and available to purchase for future meals. Don't miss this chance to support the CALCO and enjoy a wonderful Sunday night dinner.

CALCO MEAT PADDLE GAMES
SUNDAY DECEMBER 7th 2:00 – 4:00 pm
CALCO COMMUNITY CENTER – CALAMUS IA

Come to the CALCO for an afternoon of fun and games! Great meat bundle prizes and other games.
What are Meat Paddle Games you ask?
• A Meat Paddle Raffle is a fundraising event where participants use "paint paddles as tickets" to bid on & win prizes of meat.
• We will sell 20 paddles per round at $2 per paddle.
• The wheel spins and 1 winner will be awarded per round.
• There will be approximately 30 rounds per day.
• Cash or other prizes may be substituted for meat bundle & announced prior to paddles being distributed.
• Sessions start at 2:00 pm and will run until all rounds are sold out.
• Other raffles for baskets, TV and prizes will also be available.
• The CALCO & the bar will open at 1:00 pm for social hour.
• Snacks may be brought in by NO outside beverages allowed due to State Liquor License & Dram Shop Laws.
• The CALCO will remain open for social time & card playing after the Meat Paddles games are concluded, if interested.

PROFITS WILL GO TO PAY THE FUEL, UTILITIES, ETC. TO KEEP THE CALCO OPEN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR THE COMMUNITIES USE.
