Hey all,
Itās been a while as weāre still on hiatus, but with all of the hacking & sketchy internet stuff these days, I felt the need to post about some recent activity on our pageā¦
There have been numerous posts/comments with links from folks trying to sell shirts & other merch - THIS IS NOT US! Please donāt click any of those links or purchase anything from them, as I suspect itās as sketchy as it looks. But what we do know is that it is 100% NOT affiliated with us. We are reporting/blocking/deleting each one as much & quick as we can. Feel free to do the same if you see anymore links posted anywhere on our page OR tag one of us or the page in the comments so weāll get a notification. Please.
IF we ever do any fundraisers we will either be promoting or sharing the links directly (as us) on this page. We wonāt ever post any links or random comments about merch in comment sections of posts/photos/videos/etc. Nor will any volunteers. We arenāt sure who or what the links are, but I wouldnāt click them to find out. While weāre taking a break, we havenāt been & wont be posting much at all actually. But especially not actively fundraising, as that would defeat the purpose of a break. (Fundraisers are A LOT of work).
Itās a pretty sad world we live in when people target other people/organizations/businesses/etc. that are just trying to do good. Rescue is super stressful as is & probably the most thankless work out there. Literally. Weāre all just trying to save a few dogs to add some goodness into the world & mind our own business. Most of us struggle to stay afloat mentally, emotionally, or physically, & especially financially. But weāre also some of the most badass, ride or die, generous & awesome humans out there. To take advantage of anyone like that is just gross.
Iām signing off & am about to go cuddle a dog or several dogs to boost my spirit a bit. āš¼
