Friends of Sarah's House Flamingo Fundraiser

Our flamingo season officially ended on Sunday when we presented a check to Heather and Cathy at Sarah's House of Maine. These flamingos have definitely made a difference. We raised $5,000 in 2023, $7,500 in 2024 and $6,000 this year for a GRAND TOTAL OF $18,5000.
Of course, we couldn't have done that without all of you! We appreciate every penny you spend to support our fundraising efforts. This year we had some extra special help from local schools.

We had our first customer here buying numbers for our flamingo drop taking place today at 11:30. She was grateful to have Sarah’s House there when she needed it.
Each flamingo number is $5. If you didn’t get yours, come visit us at the Calais pool before 11:15. Win $500, $200 or $100! Every dollar goes to Sarah’s House.

Come on down to the street fair to get your numbers for the pool dive. Diving for the winners tomorrow! We also have a Dip A Duck for the kids - $2 and everyone gets to pick a prize!

These flamingos landed in Meddybemps today. They are happy to be there for the weekend!

Sometimes flamingo brains get rattled. The flock flew in to VL Tammaro Oil Co. Inc. in Baileyville but somebody forgot to take a picture. Oooopps! They were flocked by the First National Bank in Calais. We love to see businesses send flamingos to other businesses. Thanks to the First for always supporting our efforts to raise money for Sarah's House of Maine.
