Shallotte Presbyterian Charity Golf Event

On behalf of the Shallotte Presbyterian Charity Golf Tournament , it was my extreme pleasure to present a $500 check to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department Animal Protective Services today. These officers, lead by Officer Ricky Smith, do a wonderful job in caring for many animals and preparing them for their forever homes. Visit their web site to see if there’s a match for you.

What a Fantastic Day at Carolina National Golf Club for the 16th Annual Shallotte Presbyterian Charity Golf Tournament. With 123 players, we all enjoyed raising funds for needy Brunswick County non-profits. Many thanks to the Golf Committee Volunteers who gathered sponsors and prizes over the past 6 months. Also, thanks to WWAY TV3 for producing and broadcasting a video promoting our event. Thanks to all the players who participated, and to Linda and Marvin Stackhouse for taking photos. Finally, a special thank you to my wife who spent our wedding anniversary registering all the players in 95 degree heat.
