Family Friday: Meet the Kharooti Family! ✨

This week we’re welcoming the Kharooti family, who recently arrived in California from Afghanistan! Mom, Dad, and their four children (ages 7, 6, 4, and newborn) are beginning their new chapter together.

Dad worked as an auditor back home, and both parents are currently taking classes at the local community college as they build their new life in the United States. This family of six is ready to embrace their fresh start!

This week we’re celebrating with the Alam family, who recently arrived in California from Afghanistan! They just welcomed a baby girl in April, and we need your help to welcome her to the family!

Dad worked as a procurement officer back home, and their older daughter is already following in his helpful footsteps—she dreams of becoming a doctor or even president someday! But her biggest wish? To make Afghanistan a safe place where girls have full rights and ensure no one has to leave their homeland.
