We had a spooktacular time celebrating Cairo’s Boo on Broad annual Trunk or Treat! Our crew brought the magic of Toy Story to life — and it was a huge hit with the community! 💚💫

A big thank you to the Cairo High School Construction Class and Art Class for creating the amazing props that made our display truly come to life. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🧱🎨

🎉 Hey Grady County 4-H Families!

It’s time to get excited for Cloverleaf Project Achievement (CPA) for our 4th–6th graders with Georgia 4-H! 🌟
The Georgia 4-H Project Achievement experience enables youth to acquire confidence and develop skills in researching, assembling, and presenting information—skills that help them shine in the classroom, too!

Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Who: 4th, 5th or 6th grade 4-H’ers
✅ What: Choose a topic you’re curious about — from animals to art, robotics to wildlife!

✅ Why: Build confidence, share your passion, and have fun while learning something new!

📅 Please let us know by October 31st if your child will participate!
📍 Contest Day: Saturday, November 15 in Decatur County.

We’ll help your 4-H’er pick a topic, plan visuals, and practice their presentation so they’re ready to shine on contest day. 🌟

What a day! Our 4-H members had a blast at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia—North America’s premier farm show showcasing the best in agricultural innovation, education, and opportunity.

We got to meet NASCAR driver Ross Chastain—not just a racing star, but also an eighth-generation watermelon farmer.

Some highlights from the day:

1) Exploring new ag technologies, field demonstrations, and research plots

2) Learning from Extension agents, exhibitors, and industry pros

3) Making memories, networking, and seeing how passion meets purpose in agriculture

🌟 A little late, but we are so proud of our 4-H’ers who competed in the Georgia National Fair 4-H Educational Exhibits and Contests! 🌟

Live Contests:
👏 Emma Ausburn placed 2nd in the Junior Healthy Commodity Contest!
👏 Anthony Poyer placed 8th in the Family Seed Art Contest and 10th in the Family Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Static Exhibits:
🎨 Emma Ausburn placed 7th in Junior Recycling and 6th in Junior Mini Booth.
🎉 Dakota Faircloth placed 1st in Junior Recycling, 2nd in Junior Mini Booth, 2nd in Junior Computer Graphic, and 8th in Decorated Ag.

🍀 We are so proud of these hardworking 4-H members for representing Grady County 4-H at the Georgia National Fair!
