Trigg County Happy Feet is excited to announce Cadiz Rotary Club doubled their donation this year to $2000.

That's at least 50 students receiving shoes! 50!

Drum Roll 🥁 Please!

I had a goal of 400 pairs of shoes for the 2025 Happy Feet totals!

We gave out 457 pairs!
200 more pairs than the previous year!

Our total was shy of my fundraising goal of $16,000 but it was close! Everyone gets to select the shoes they want and sometimes those shoes are lower costs due to sales and clearance items.

My last shout out is to the donors!

Thank you is never enough!

Think about the stress this takes off of the parents and guardians! Think about the anxiety it removes from the students! Think about the families without reliable transportation when I am bringing a shoe store to Trigg County once a year!

Happy Feet is an excellent community service that strives to remove the stumbling block of inadequate footwear! Thank you for letting me serve these families for the past 4 years!

Year 5 is destined to be the best with your continued support!

Today's shout-out is for my Volunteers on Shoe Day!

It takes a lot of volunteers to make Shoe Day happen!

I don't want to skip a person that showed up so I won't go over each one!

I am thankful that Cadiz Lion Club, FNB Bank, Helping Hands/Bargain Barn, Cadiz Head Start, Trigg County DCBS was a new volunteer for us this year with multiple workers making a difference that day!

Tammy and Barbara work my check in desk each year! Some of my donors came to volunteer! Friends, Family, Neighbors, and my boy's always help! I even hit up my scrapbooking "family"!

I absolutely could not run Trigg County Happy Feet without these volunteers showing up and putting on a lot of work to bring a shoe store to Cadiz for a one day event!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

By the way, August is coming, 7 months away! 😉❤️
