Last night FNB brought Trigg County Happy Feet a big check for $1587! Pushing us very close to our $16,000 goal! They also volunteered to put shoes on students. They have been volunteering for the past 4 years and I am so happy when they come walking in! They interact with the students, talk to them, ask them their names! It's not just about getting shoes! This check is a blessing to many students in the community!

I also adopted Brenda Price as a forever volunteer even after retirement!

Trigg County Happy Feet is excited to announce 3 more donations! One from our monthly donor! One from an anonymous volunteer! And another from S.F.

Thank you to everyone for your support! We are so close to our goal! You can help us get there. I have 408 students on this years list! 408!

I am so excited to see them all TOMORROW during open house! Shoe Day is private event. We don't accept walk ins!

Why do we use Shirley in Webster County as our Treasurer? Trigg County is one of 17 different locations currently with an active Happy Feet. Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet is a 501c3 that acts as the "corporate" account. There's only one nonprofit number under Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet.

Each county keeps its own checks and balances. Shirley makes sure everything is correct in the corporate account and local accounts. She is amazing at her job and helps run her local Happy Feet.

I do not have access to the account, I get reimbursed for items I purchase like socks, stamps, envelopes, etc.

Trigg County Happy Feet received another donation today from Liberty Point Baptist Church! $250! I'm definitely going to put that to "great" use really soon! Trigg County Happy Feet shoe day is only 9 days away!

I am currently sitting at EXACTLY 400 students on my 2026 Shoe List! Exactly! Plus the shoes we already bought earlier this year will put us over 400 if everyone shows up and uses their certificate! This number will probably grow! Especially, with stocking the Family Resource closets at all 4 schools plus Head Start.

We are gearing up for Shoe Day in early August where we are planning to add 400 more pairs for back to school and $16,000 to that total!

You can help us continue to serve Trigg County students from Head Start to High School!

Trigg County Happy Feet is thrilled to announce a few things! The Christian Women's Fellowship met and chose to help buy shoes for our students! God will provide! One donation at a time! $400!

St. Stephen's Catholic Church also donated $100 which they have done for several years!

Spent the morning counting socks! Bombas has been very great at Helping Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet for many years. Unfortunately the sock request can't be filled until fall this year. Leaving many counties counting socks!

Bombas donates to non-profits and emergency needs like storms. Unfortunately, you can hop onto places like Facebook Marketplace and shop for "FREE" Bombas socks that are not going for resale. These items are usually $2 a pair on Marketplace and these socks were meant to help people not make you profits.

So organizations like Happy Feet are going to be late due to the overwhelming need of free socks. Which clearly say "not for resale" on the package.

I have 381 students on my list currently and I am probably going to buy socks to be safe. I love the quality of Bombas and they donate a pair of socks for each pair you purchase!
