HEADS UP. It's kitten season, most rescues are full. If you have a person quickly saying they will take a cat or kitten, BETTER ASK QUESTIONS and DON'T GIVE AWAY FREE. There are some BAD people out there. No shelter or rescue will take feral cats/kittens, but a shelter south of us will accept them and euthanize. We are not a rescue, but glad to post pictures and help you find homes. We ask the same questions of all potential adopters: #1 Do you have any other pets and are they spayed or neutered? #2 Do you have any large dogs in the home? (Can be problem with kittens) #3 If you are renting, does your landlord permit the pet adoption? 75% of dumped cats and kittens we see are from rental situations, so it's a valid question for their safety. Many times, TNR and keeping the cats in or near the place they know as home is the best choice.
