There is a difference between being a bully and tough love!
I support whipping your kids, I support disciplining your child, I support standing up for yourself in every situation.. but what I don't support and what this page is against is belittling others for their home life, or telling others to kill themselves or calling other names and making them feel less than. This world is not like it use to be, adults have to realize that kids don't handle things like we did , meeting up to deal with it without adults. Today in this world it's about money, status, your clothes, popularity ECT for those who are different, they are being told to kill themselves. If we don't like someone what does it cost to walk away? If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
Teach your children to be kind or to walk away.
Tough love is teaching your child to stand up for what's right and letting them handle it to a certain extent. Teaching them that people are different and some people suck. Life definitely ain't fair and you won't always get what you want. Tough love is different for each home, but being a bully and teaching your child to bully that's not ok. Know the difference.
