If you are in the path of Helene, please write your pet's name and your phone number with a permanent marker on their belly. In the event you get separated or get lost during the storm, this could be the only thing that reunites you. Collars fall off, and chips can't be searched without the internet.

Don't forget our outdoor friends during this heat. It is hot for them, as well.

Change their outdoor water bowls frequently.

Remember, asphalt and concrete can be quite a bit hotter than actual air temperatures.

2024 Solar Eclipse Pet Safety

Just a friendly reminder - during a solar eclipse, it's a good idea to keep your furry friends indoors. The sun's rays can be harmful to their eyes, and the sudden change in light might spook them. Many pets react to eclipses just like they do to fireworks or thunderstorms.
