As we move into 2026, and our 6th full year of operation, we want to ensure we are committed to our mission and the effectiveness of our events.

With that, what events would you like to see as we move forward? More fishing? More hunting? Youth events?

Drop us a comment with an idea or something you'd like to see us get into. 👇👇👇 Together we will make this happen!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

2025 is in the books, and man what a year it has been! We've grown, we've adjusted, and continued to spread our mission of getting Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star families in the outdoors.

Across 4 states we have conducted 11 events, welcoming 48 guests, and logged over 2000 volunteer hours. We continue to build volunteer teams that make everything we do possible.

This year we've had some new experiences and blessings, from volunteers jumping out of airplanes, to getting billboards put up for our cause, donations and get togethers in our honor, it has been amazing.

In 2026 we are not slowing down! We are expanding, we are moving, and we are looking for bigger and bolder ways to give back to our guests.

Here's to a safe and blessed New year, and thanks to everyone who has helped us get this far!

Until next time, keep those Wings Up!

Our board VP, Cory, was able to get one of our Kentucky/ Tennessee volunteers and his family out to see some gators in the wild while vacationing in Central Florida!

This is the brotherhood and comraderie we talk every event. From guest on a hunt, to now a volunteer, these are the lasting connections and friendships we strive for. This is what we are all about!

The Christmas season is often defined by the warmth of home, but for many, that warmth is protected by those standing watch in the cold. This is dedicated to our veterans and first responders.

The Silent Watch

The snow falls soft on quiet streets,
Behind the glass, the pulse of home—
The laughter, light, and rhythmic beats
Of families gathered, not alone.

But out beyond the festive glow,
Are those who trade their chair for gear,
Who pace the lines or brave the snow
To hold at bay the shadows’ fear.

To the Veterans, whose strength remains,
The builders of our hard-won peace,
Who bore the weight of distant rains
So that our freedoms might increase;
We see the scars, both seen and hid,
And honor every path you trod—
In everything you bravely did,
You served as messengers of God.

To First Responders, through the night,
The sirens cut the winter chill.
While others sleep, you join the fight
With steady hand and iron will.
The badge, the hose, the medic’s kit,
The calm within the storm’s embrace—
You give your all, you never quit,
To bring us hope and give us peace.

So as we raise a glass or prayer,
And wrap our gifts beneath the tree,
We remember those no longer there,
And those who serve so we stay free.

For Christmas isn’t just the light,
Or silver bells and songs we know—
It’s those who keep us safe tonight,
While watching o'er the fallen snow.

Honoring our Fallen Heroes Act Passed!!!

This is great news for our firefighter community! These folks have to deal with a lot on the job, and in some instances it's the things you can't see that can do the most damage.

This bill allows our firefighter's families be taken care of if, God forbid, something happens to their loved one on the job. Needed for quite some time, but better late than never.

In a historic development, the U.S. Senate has passed the IAFF-endorsed Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act as part of the National Defense Authorization Act

Only a few items left on our Gold Star Family Gift Registries! Let's get them all purchased so these folks have an extra special Christmas! See our previous post for links. 🏁🏁🏁🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

SITREP Foundation – Reminder to Honor Ohio’s Fallen Heroes

Don't forget this Friday, we’re linking arms with our partners at the 3C Foundation - Chris Cravens for a solemn and meaningful mission at Dayton National Cemetery. Volunteers will gather to lay holiday wreaths across the resting places of Ohio’s veterans, including those in the revered Soldiers of 1812 section.

This isn’t just another event on the calendar.
It’s a boots-on-ground commitment to honor those who stood watch before us.

Every wreath placed is a message loud and clear:
We remember. We respect. We will never forget.

If you’ve been meaning to join us, now is the time to lock it in.

Why This Matters

For more than 150 years, Dayton National Cemetery has been a place where service, sacrifice, and memory converge. When we lay these wreaths, we aren’t decorating headstones, we’re safeguarding legacy.

If you can’t attend, amplify the mission. Share the event. Bring others into the formation.

SITREP Foundation will be onsite. We’d be honored to have you standing with us.

Let’s execute with purpose and honor Ohio’s heroes together.

Honor the Sacrifice: Support Our Gold Star Families this Holiday Season. 🇺🇸

This year, and every year moving forward, we are teaming up with other nonprofit organizations to bring a little extra joy to some Gold Star families during the Christmas season. The two families we have chose this year have been able to attend events with us recently and we want to make sure our support to them keeps going.

These Gold Star Family Gift Registries are live, and we need your help to bring joy and comfort to the families who have lost a loved one in service to our nation.

By purchasing an item from the registry, you are directly fulfilling a wish or need for a surviving spouse, child, or parent. It's the most meaningful way to say "thank you" this year.

All items ship direct to family, with option to add gift wrapping!
