🇺🇸 HAPPY FLAG DAY! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the Stars and Stripes, one of the most recognized symbols of freedom in the world.

On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress adopted the first official American flag, establishing a banner with 13 stars and 13 stripes representing the original colonies.

Today, 249 years later, the American flag continues to stand as a symbol of freedom, courage, sacrifice, and unity.

We also celebrate a historic year for our nation. In 2026, America marks its 250th anniversary, honoring the generations who have defended and preserved the freedoms we enjoy today.

The Cadillac Freedom Festival is proud to continue this tradition by bringing our community together to celebrate faith, freedom, family, and country.

We look forward to celebrating with you July 2–5 in Cadillac! ❤️🤍💙
