Sunshine, comfortable temperatures and falling leaves made for the perfect backdrop for more than 1,200 guests that joined us at Concordia at Cabot on Saturday, Oct. 3, for our annual Oktoberfest celebration – and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!🍂

Guests enjoyed a German-inspired menu prepared by Concordia’s culinary team, the Mikey Dee Polka Band provided live entertainment throughout the evening, while outside families made the most of the beautiful weather with hayrides and plenty to explore at Kids Fest on the Concordia ball field, including a bounce castle and a petting zoo. The night concluded with one of the most anticipated traditions of the evening – a spectacular fireworks display.

Concordia-IRMC VNA joined our Indiana community for Senior Day in the Park, hosted by Aging with Comfort and Aging Services. 💙

We are always looking for ways to connect with our community and support our neighbors. Concordia Missions was grateful to contribute to this event in a meaningful way by donating food for those facing food insecurity.

The event offered free resources to local seniors, including haircuts, lunch, a farmers market and the opportunity to connect with local agencies.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and continues to support seniors throughout our community!

Nothing beats some herbs 🍃

Concordia at Bethlen residents were treated to a culinary herbs presentation by the PA Master Gardeners. Deborah Christopher presented information about a number of herbs as the other Master Gardeners brought each around for the residents to smell. Following the presentation, each resident made a small sachet of dried herbs to take back to their rooms.
