TRANSPARENCY
Abundant Grace is not government funded and currently has only 3 monthly supporters totaling about $400 and can currently house 4 ladies. There is no payroll so all donations go 100% to helping these women. Anyone who understands the financial challenges of ministry knows it can be difficult in such a rural area. We are beyond grateful for ALL the support we do receive.

BOUNDARIES ARE HEALTHY

• Guarding Your Heart: Proverbs 4:23 urges you to guard your heart, because everything you do flows from it. Setting limits helps prevent toxic energy, gossip, or spiritual compromise from derailing your walk with God.

• Following Jesus’ Example: Jesus modeled clear boundaries during His earthly ministry. He frequently withdrew to pray (Luke 5:16) and occasionally redirected disciples—such as when He rebuked Peter for focusing on human concerns rather than God's plan (Matthew 16:23)—proving that boundaries are loving and purposeful.

• Stewardship vs. Comfort: As outlined by The Gospel Coalition, boundaries are tools of stewardship. They manage your emotional and physical capacity so you can serve God effectively, balancing sacrificial love with the reality of human limitations.

Allowing a friend to continually stay in unrepentant sin or destructive behavior without speaking truth in love is unbiblical. Boundaries prevent you from enabling dysfunction.

We shouldnt mistake healthy boundaries as rejection or judgment. Instead we should examine ourselves and ask God to reveal our bad habits, our dysfunctional behavior, our skewed thinking that has led to the boundary being enforced and pray for His help to line ourselves up with the truth of His word so we can participate in and nurture healthy relationships.
