Lions President Naureen Palmer presented a plaque and a check for $500 in Gary's honor to the non-profits of his choice. The donation will be split between The Cable Bike Park and The Cable Greenspace. Gary has been a positive force in our community as a volunteer who leads by action.

Did you know much of the money raised from several Cable and Area Lions Club events and raffles goes to our Scholarship fund? This year we got to support four Drummond Area School District Seniors with $2,000 each to pursue their future educational goals. Our biggest raffle of the year for this is currently being held and you can support us by buying a raffle ticket at Rondeaus over the weekends. Cash prizes awarded at our 4th of July picnic.
Congratulation to these exception stundents!
