Did you know much of the money raised from several Cable and Area Lions Club events and raffles goes to our Scholarship fund? This year we got to support four Drummond Area School District Seniors with $2,000 each to pursue their future educational goals. Our biggest raffle of the year for this is currently being held and you can support us by buying a raffle ticket at Rondeaus over the weekends. Cash prizes awarded at our 4th of July picnic.

Cable and Area Lions Club, WE SERVE!
This is a new project for us, forms can be picked up at the Cable Area Chamber of Commerce, Cable UCC Church, Drummond Library and St Ann's Catholic Church in Cable. The form can also be printed from this post.

We celebrated the Cable, Drummond, GrandView and Namakagon Volunteer Fire departments and Great Divide EMS last night at a community picnic. Co hosted by the Cable Area Chamber. Cable & Area Lions Club donated $2000 to each fire department and Great Divide. Thank you for all you do for our communities ❤️

We love our volunteer work in the school! Our Cable and Area Lions Club does several projects within the Drummond Area School District. From Bookworms at the Pre-K & Kindergarten levels, Book Buddies where second graders practice their reading skills with us, Battle of the Books where we lead conversations with older elementary students, all the way up to providing scholarships for graduating seniors and college students. The Lions are so proud of these students and all their accomplishments!
