The Knights Baseball Club The Knights Baseball COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT Club- featuring the HIGHEST level of PROFESSIONAL Training! As Fall approaches, our boys are back in school.

Summer signals that time of year with the recent travel ball season coming to an end. Many young athletes are braving the heat, trying out for their respective football teams. These (2) Season also represent that time of year when many families begin exploring options and trying to determine which baseball team, which baseball club is best for our sons - and which one will provide for the developm

ent we seek to prepare them -NOT JUST for high school ball -but COLLEGE Baseball as well! Do you find yourself asking the following questions, each time, this time of year?
1. As a Parent, am I doing the very best to get my son to the next level?
2. Is my son continuing to improve?
3. What might I do more of -or differently- to keep my son improving, so that when he tries out for a high school team, he will not only make the team, but he will be able to play often and excel? With these questions in mind, since 2014, The Knights continue to reach out to some of the VERY FINEST Baseball Instructors in the Bay Area, seeking their assistance to provide our boys the Highest Level of instruction available in all of East County and the Greater Delta Areas. Below is just a few of the instructors our boys have had the privilage of working with:

· TRENT OELTJEN- Former MAJOR Leaguer and Olympian (Silver Medalist, Australia)

· AARON MILES- Former MAJOR Leaguer and World Series Champion

· MANUEL KATOTAKIS– Former Milwaukee Brewers Scout

· JACK JONES- Former Los Angeles Dodger and Former Shortstop of the "Greatest College World Series Championship Team in History", The Fullerton Titans!

· SCOTTY NIHEU: Former San Jose State Spartan, member of the Spartan's Only College World Series Team and 3-Time Recipient of the “Spartan” Award

· GABE DURAN: Former College All American (Menlo College) and son of former Major Leaguer, Dan Duran

· JIMMY KATOTAKIS: Former College All American and Baltimore Orioles Draftee

· CODY SLADER: Rawlings College Defensive Player of the Year (Chico State)

-and Others!! Our New Knights Baseball teams are always seeking the Most Competitive GAMERS!! The Knights professional instructors will provide PERSONAL, On Field Instruction to a select # of teams, 1 x per week during the Fall and 2 x per week in the Spring . Each team will have the privilege to call “home” one of the finest, private ball fields in all of Contra Costa County, Arabella
"Field of Dreams", located at the Byron’s own, the Amazing Arabella Vineyards! "The Home of the Knights" features covered dugouts, lights, bathrooms, and a wine tasting area during normal business hours. Leer Vineyards is centrally located in the greater Delta Area, just a minute or so away from Highway 4 in Discovery Bay and just 20-30 minutes from Stockton and Tracy, 35-45 Minutes from Pleasanton and 40-50 Minutes from Concord. So bummed to hear of the ‘s passing!! 😢😭

I literally just picked a Willie Mays-signed baseball on eBay just few hours ago and the merchant messaged me as he was getting ready to ship it, that Willie had just passed away!

I never got to see Willie in his prime,
but as a young boy growing up in New York, I did saw him play as a 42 yr old, when he returned to New York in his final 2 seasons with the NY Mets in 72 and 73
-making one last run at a World Series crown.

You still couldn’t keep your eyes off of him. My Dad grew up in the late 40’s and 50’s and was a massive Mantle and DiMaggio fan -but he always said that Willie Mays was overall, thee Best baseball player he haa ever seen.

Rest in peace, Willie. As my son Miles (age 4) yelled when Willie broke down, crying at the unveiling of his amazing statue at the opening of PacBell Park in March/2000, “We love you, Willie Mays“.
Rest in peace, Willie. There truly will never be another like you! 🙏 ⚾️ ❤️

Willie Mays could do everything on a baseball field. Those gifts made him one of the best -- if not the very best -- players who ever lived.

As a parent of a motivated and ultra competitive young baseball player, do you find yourself asking the following questions, each time, at the end of each Spring or Fall season?

In the Summer of 2016, with our Knights 8th Graders becoming High School Freshman we created THE DARK KNIGHTS, the Knights Baseball Club’s Summer and Fall “High School’ Program. Since then, we have provided hundreds of East County and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta players the opportunity to showcase theirs skills in front of numerous college coaches at Cal Poly, University of San Diego, St. Mary’s, UC Davis, San Jose State, Santa Clara University, USF, Santa Clara University, Chico State, Stanislaus State and others In addition, Dark Knights players have participated in many High Profile events with The Perfect Game, Baseball Factory, 5 Tool Showcases, Prospect Wire and others! In October of 2017, our Dark Knights 17U team had not one, but 5 players to the “All Tournament Team” at the Perfect Game Fall National Championship. In July of 2018, the Dark Knights 2019 team finished in the Top 4 out of 32 showcase clubs at the 5 Tool Northern California Showcase at UOP, San Joaquin Delta and Sac State.
