Helping build a strong supportive community!!

It's that time of year! Every year we do a donation drive of nutritional drinks for the Central Georgia Cancer Care Center. Since 2016, we have donated over 14,650 bottles with over 2,300 bottles donated last year alone.

This is not just a DPES donation drive. It truly is a community donation drive as we have had businesses like Reece Heating and Air, LLC, The Lotus Center, DBI Outdoor Solutions LLC, and more donate bottles and they are not affiliated with our school at all. We have also had numerous community members who don't have kids at our school send in or bring by donations.

I am posting about this drive now so you can start collecting bottles. There are some deals at BJ's Wholesale and other places so check their coupons. If anyone wants to send donations through Amazon, they can do that too. Donations can be brought or sent to us at 115 Sutherlin Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

The drive technically doesn't start until 7/28 when teachers return but if someone wants to bring a donation by or send to us through Amazon early, we won't turn it away. :)

Thank you to everyone over the years who have supported this donation drive. It's near and dear to our hearts as it was started in 2016, but since then we have lost 2 students to cancer and we now do this in their honor and memory. We will never forget McKenzie and Aiden!

Reach out if you have any questions at all and please spread the word we are doing this again this year. Whether we get over 2,000 bottles again or just a few hundred, it will be a blessing. :)

The Lotus flower is one of God's most beautiful reminders that your environment does not determine your destiny.
The lotus begins its journey buried in mud, surrounded by murky water. Yet it pushes through the darkness, rises above what could have held it captive, and blooms into something breathtaking. It does not allow the mud to define it; instead, it uses what it grows through to become what it was created to be.
Just as the lotus blooms in the warmth of summer, there are seasons in life when God brings forth the beauty He has been cultivating beneath the surface. What looked like delay was development. What felt like pressure was preparation. What seemed buried was actually being planted.

Encouraging Word:
Like the lotus flower, you may have grown through difficult places, but God never intended for the mud to be your resting place. The very things that tried to bury you became the soil for your growth. In His perfect timing, you will rise above the circumstances, bloom with purpose, and display the beauty of His handiwork. Do not despise the season of becoming. Summer always follows the planting, and blooming follows the stretching. Keep reaching toward the Son, and what God has placed within you will blossom for all to see.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time." — Ecclesiastes 3:11

Sometimes the greatest testimony is not that you avoided the mud, but that you bloomed in spite of it.

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the ladies who donated briefs and incontinent products to Villa Rose Nursing Home. Your acts of kindness and generosity do not go unnoticed. Thank you for your service and dedication to making our community a better place.
A very special thank you to Tammy, Abby, and Ms. Geraldine for delivering the products. I am truly grateful for your help and support throughout this process.
Your compassion and willingness to serve others is greatly appreciated!
