IN THE NEWS: Attorney General Chris Carr said eight people, including a woman from Macon, were arrested in connection to trafficking a 17-year-old across the state.

MACON, Ga. — A Macon woman, alongside several others, was charged in connection with a trafficking investigation, according to a release from Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr.

In the release, it said Kathleen Lowery, 48, was arrested alongside seven other people in connection with trafficking a 17-year-old girl across the state of Georgia.
