🍂❤️ FALL IN LOVE WITH PICKETT — JOIN THE FUN!
This fall, we're asking businesses, organizations and residents all across Pickett County to help us make our community a little more colorful!

Decorate your storefront, restaurant, office, church, organization, porch, yard or another favorite spot. Go big or keep it simple — pumpkins, mums, cornstalks, hay bales, scarecrows, fall signs, old trucks...whatever says fall to you.

And yes, there's a little friendly competition involved! 🏆

The public will vote for their favorite displays in three categories:

🍁 Business
🏡 Residential
❤️ Community — churches, nonprofits, clubs, schools and community groups

🍁 GET ON THE FALL DECOR TRAIL
Businesses and community organizations that participate will be added to our Fall in Love with Pickett Decor Trail.

We'll promote the trail through Visit Pickett, encouraging visitors and locals to travel around the county, check out the decorations, and stop in at the businesses and organizations along the way.

Don't have a storefront? Adopt a Spot! Families, clubs, churches and organizations are welcome to decorate a community spot and join the fun.

Once your display is ready, take a photo and send it to us:

Include your name, location of the display and category — Business, Residential or Community.

👍 Public voting: November 24–29 on the Visit Pickett page
🏆 Winners announced: November 30

Residential addresses will not be placed on the public Decor Trail unless you specifically ask us to include yours.

We also want to see your favorite fall photos from around Pickett County — Dale Hollow Lake, colorful country roads, farms, sunsets, family fall traditions, beautiful views and those little moments that make you love living here.

Message or email those to us, too. We'll share some of our favorites throughout the campaign.

And when you post your own pictures, tag Visit Pickett and use so we can see them!

We’ve got a little bit of everything happening Friday and Saturday — from the excitement of a Truck Pull, to stepping back in time at Hull’s Harvest, to rolling up your sleeves and giving back during National Public Lands Day at Dale Hollow Lake.

Whether you want to hear engines roar, experience some of our Appalachian history and traditions, or spend a day helping take care of the lake we all love, there’s a good reason to get out and enjoy Pickett County this weekend.

Happening this Saturday!!

It's almost time for Hull's Harvest! See the 1870s come to life through living history interpreters and historians demonstrating what harvest season looked like during that time period. We’ll have live music from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.
Come check out basket weaving, broom making, outdoor cooking, blacksmithing, natural dyeing, and more!
