DON'T MISS THIS HISTORIC OPPORTUNITY! We're collecting materials through June 10th at Byhalia MS Town Hall.
Bring copies of photographs, letters, documents, stories, artwork, newspaper clippings, programs, recipes, family memories, and other items that help tell the story of our town and its people today.
We especially welcome materials that reflect:
• Everyday life in Byhalia
• Families and community traditions
• Schools, churches, clubs, and organizations
• Local businesses and development
• Agriculture, culture, and celebrations
• Hopes, concerns, and dreams for the future
• What it means to live in Byhalia in 2026
PLEASE NOTE:
• Submit COPIES ONLY. Materials will not be returned.
• By submitting materials, you grant permission to Byhalia Main Street to use them for historical, educational, archival, and promotional purposes.
• Materials should be appropriate for long-term preservation and public display.
This project is intended to help future generations understand not just what Byhalia looked like - but how people lived, worked, celebrated, believed, and cared for one another during this moment in history.
Let’s leave something meaningful behind.
