Here at lazy G Horse we strive to help as many horses as possible no matter the situation. We are a non profit organization with a focus on honesty, compassion and transparency. We are trying to step outside of the box of your typical rescue, our goal is take horses out of bad situations and give them a new lease on life, train, refresh, and heal them to reach their full potential.

We are looking to raise close to 2000 dollars to help cover some of the cost of new infrastructure around the rescue. This will help with some fencing and plumbing for a new pasture to hopefully accommodate 4-5 more horses.

Sorry we didn't get any welcome home videos or pictures of her earlier on, but we have had Reba here a little while now! We have been working with her on her groundwork and she was doing so well. We decided to see how she was saddled yesterday and we ended up sitting on her for the first time. She did great!

Meet Agnes.

Agnes is a 16 year old flea bitten grey mustang mare. that was captured out of Wyoming in 2009. Agnes seems to have been handled at some point in her past but has reverted back to being skittish. she will come running when called for feed, but likes to maintain a bit of distance, with a little work she would make some one a great companion horse or with some more time she would make a great trail horse. she is low man on the totem pole and the other mares here at Lazy G have been giving her a very hard time. so with that being said we are going to offer her up for adoption a little earlier than expected. I will get some more photos/videos together this afternoon. to inquire about Agnes please feel free to message the page or call/text me at 901-734-8870.

Weekly pasture moves are going a little smoother and these ladies are finally putting on some weight. Still a little skiddish but we are getting there slowly but surely.

The old man got to do a little cow work this past weekend. Don't let the grey in his face fool you, he will still put his head down and go for a days work when asked.

Two more saved from Mexico. These two three years old fillies, formerly known as lots 286/287, were only a few days away from being shipped south of the border, but after a 960 mile road trip and help from few great people we were able to get these girls home safe and sound. We have spent the last few days getting to know them and letting them aclimate to their new home and we are off to great start. It's gonna be a long journey for us and for them, but In a world of chasing the now, a little delayed gratification will be a nice change of pace. We will be posting updates on theses girls and their progress as we go. Also I would like to personally thank everyone who has helped make this possible and get Lazy G Horse Rescue up and running with our first two true rescues.

Any name suggestions?
