URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy is a Jewish overnight camp located in the Boston area. Build a robot. Conduct a science experiment. Design a video game. Make a film.

Our playful, curious, and warm camp environment welcomes campers entering grades 5 to 11. Here's a hypothesis: Kids can have fun learning about science and technology at a Reform Jewish summer camp! For 13 summers, Byfield was more than just a place. It was where friendships were made, connections grew, memories were created, and where so many of us found a little piece of home.

And this summer, we said goodbye for the last time.

For the last time, we walked these paths, shared these moments, laughed until we couldn’t breathe, and made memories that will stay with us long after we leave. So much of who we are as a community was shaped here, by the people we met and the moments we shared.

13 summers. Countless memories. A lifetime of connections.

As one incredible summer comes to a close, we're left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and one final all-camp photo to remember it all. 💙

From the first day to the last, every experiment, challenge, Shabbat, friendship, laugh, and discovery helped make this summer one we'll never forget. Thank you to every camper, staff member, family, and community member who made our 13th summer so special.

Sci-TechKun Olam is where innovation meets impact. 💙🔬

Our 11th graders took their STEM skills beyond the classroom, collaborating on projects designed to make a real difference in the world around them. Through creativity, teamwork, and a passion for tikkun olam (repairing the world), they showed that even the smallest ideas can spark meaningful change.

As part of the campaign, our Assistant Director made a promise... and thanks to everyone who supported the Game-A-Thon, it was time to deliver! 🎨 The Sagan campers got to join in the fun when Erin dyed her hair, making good on that unforgettable campaign pledge.

From welcoming alumni back to camp and reconnecting with familiar faces, to celebrating the B’Mitzvah of Sci-Tech and the Bat Mitzvah of our very own director, Jayme Dale Mallindine, the weekend was filled with moments that reminded us what makes this community so special.

Looking back on 13 incredible years together, we celebrated not only our history, but the people and values that continue to shape Sci-Tech. Here's to the memories we've made, the connections we've built, and living our six values together. ✨
