Maisy Erickson, Volunteer Coordinator of the Butte Rescue Mission, gave us a preview today of the upcoming annual banquet to celebrate 50 years of service to the Butte community. Spoiler: It's October 15, and you can buy tickets here: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/brmbanquet26/

Fun facts:
In 1976, following hospitalization for alcoholism, Dallas Doyle was challenged to "drink himself to death" on St. Patrick's Day. Staring in a glass, he found his path to be an evangelist preacher in Butte and found the Butte Rescue Mission.

Fast forward to 2025: 111,674 meals were served with 383 people receiving shelter.

With school around the corner, we have a lot of great team members hitting the books. Which also means we're looking to add to our team in our Host/Busser AND Dishwasher positions.

--HOST/BUSSER--
This role is a blend of welcoming and seating guests, supporting our servers, and bussing/cleaning tables to keep our dining room running smoothly. It’s a hands-on position that plays a big part in the overall guest experience.

We’re seeking someone who is:
• Reliable and dependable
• A strong team player
• Genuinely friendly and welcoming

You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to stay on your feet for 4–5 hour shifts starting as early as 7:30am or closing as late as 2:30pm, and capable of some heavier lifting as part of the role. Weekday and a minimum of one weekend day availability is required, with potential to be scheduled up to 5 days.

$12/hour + shared host tip pool

--DISHWASHER--
This role is an important part of keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You'll be responsible for keeping dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment clean and ready to go, while helping maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the day.

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Reliable and dependable
• A strong team player
• Hardworking and willing to jump in where needed

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, staying on your feet throughout your shift, and handling some heavier lifting as part of the role.

Availability is needed Wednesday–Sunday, with typical shifts running from 9:00am–2:30/3:00pm.

$14/hour + shared back-of-house tip pool
