We are writing to cordially invite you to GGTU's Fifer Gulch BBQ to celebrate the completion of our project. The festivities will begin at 6pm on Thursday, July 16th. A short tour of the project site will be followed up by a hosted BBQ. Please RSVP if you can so we can get an idea on numbers. We'll be meeting up on the project site and the gates will be open on Cable Road. Please bring a chair and a side dish if you'd like. This is an informal affair dudes. BBQ burgers and dogs and soft drinks will be provided by GGTU. This a great opportunity to see a legacy community restoration project up close!

Above-normal snowpack to incredibly above-normal snowpack across most mountain ranges in SW Montana. Snow water equivalent values are through the roof in Beaverhead County. Looking impressive from the Bridgers to Yellowstone National Park.

Last week, GGTU Vice President Mark Mariano had the opportunity to join project partners, agencies, and landowners on a flight over the Upper Clark Fork Valley, Butte, and Anaconda.

Seeing the largest Superfund cleanup and stream restoration project in the United States from the air was an incredible experience and offered a whole new perspective on our watershed. From the Warm Springs–Silver Lake system and the many tributaries feeding the Clark Fork River and Silver Bow Creek to the ongoing restoration work along the mainstem, the scale of this collaborative effort is truly remarkable.

A huge thank you to the Clark Fork Coalition for the invitation and to EcoFlight for providing such an unforgettable tour.

We hope you enjoy the photos and as always... It's for the Fish! 🎣

In honor of school being out for the summer, we want to highlight the Deerlodg School annual fishing trip. One of our own board members, Britten Jay, helps put this trip together to teach kids about fishing and conservation. Wow, it looks like a great time with plenty of fish. I wish my school did this growing up. Have a great summer!

Join us for some beers and pizza while the finest biologists in Montana go over the state of the fisheries. The format is timed lightning talks from each biologist. They will be covering the Upper Clark Fork, Georgetown Lake, Rock Creek, Big Hole, Jefferson, Ruby, Beaverhead, and the Clark Fork Superfund area.

After the fun, we have some buisness to attend to. We are conducting BOD elections and going over the annual treasurers report.

Hope to see you there!

Huge thanks to all the volunteers who participated in the willow harvest! What a great group of people! The fish will be happy, and I think the golf course was glad we cleared out hole 17 for the left-hand approach.

We had 25 volunteers participate and harvested close to 4,000 willows from the Fairmont golf course.

A huge thanks to , Big Sky Watershed Corps, and for assisting in the effort!
