We had our first virtual competition yesterday. Than you to all those that came to support us and cheer. The results are in:

Jackleg 15 ft 10.25 in

100 dollar bidder now 150. Who will give..... The first Montana tech Virtual Mining Team auction is now open! techminingteam.givesmart.com is the place to go. The 10 items are available for preview now, and will be open Tomorrow at 0600. Bidding closes Sunday evening (3-21). Tell you friends, and thank you for your support!

It's banquet time! Well, sort of. At least an auction. The mining team is having its annual auction Saint Patrick's Day week. More details and links to follow!

Hello Montana Tech alumni and Mining Team supporters. I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during these crazy times. In the past you would be planning to attend our annual banquet in Butte to meet with old friends and support our champion mining team. Unfortunately, due to safety and health restrictions, an in person banquet will not be happening this year.
In its place will be the first online Mining Team auction. The Mining Team has still been collecting donations to make it just as exciting as years past. The auction is scheduled for the evening of November 6th. More information will come shortly about how and where you can bid.
If you are unable to attend, we are accepting sponsorships as well.

Hello to our alumni and mining team supporters. It is with a heavy heart to announce that for the first time since mining games have begun that this years games have been canceled. Thank you to everyone that supported us through the year and years past. Next year will be a redemption year, And we will make you all proud of Montana Tech’s mining team.

The comp grounds were very full this afternoon with competition only 11 days away. Orphan Boy, Granite, Badger, Neversweat, Lexington, and Orphan Girl were all busy making sure they are ready to bring their A game to Central City next week.

The Montana Tech Mining Team has competed in every International Mining Competition since the competition was created in 1978. The International Mining Competition consists of 7 events, these events represent old mining techniques.
