Manufacturing Consortium of MonTana The MCMT has been designed to bridge the gap between basic research and mature development in the manufacturing sector.

The Manufacturing Consortium of Montana (MCMT) serves as a single point of entry where manufacturing firms can obtain assistance in manufacturing automation, technical product development, management methods, advanced materials and processes, concurrent engineering and design practices, quality, efficiency, and productivity methods. There is documented evidence there is a gap between the innovatio

n process and the production process which needs to be addressed in order to scale up manufacturing. The MCMT is a collaborative effort between the Butte-Silver Bow local government, Butte Local Development Corporation, and MERDI, to promote the implementation of best practices to key stakeholders through development of advanced technologies and methodologies. The MCMT process delivers optimized manufacturing solutions that enhance the quality, affordability, maintainability, and rapid deployment of existing and yet-to-be developed systems and products.
