๐ŸŽ“ Congratulations to this year's graduates!

You've worked hard, stayed focused, and made your families incredibly proud.

At MPPAF, supporting the next generation of law enforcement families through our scholarship program is one of the greatest honors we have. Watching these students walk across the stage is exactly why we do what we do.

To every graduate this season: the future is bright, and we are cheering you on. ๐ŸŒŸ

Honored to see our Executive Director, Dan Smith, representing the Montana Police Protective Association during the Peace Officers Memorial Day parade in Kalispell on May 15th.

Dan had the privilege of driving the Montana Law Enforcement Museum car as we joined communities across the country in honoring the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

๐Ÿ”ฅTorch Tidbit ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Law Enforcement Torch Runยฎ first began in 1981 in Kansas City and made its way to Montana in 1985.

In 1986, Montana hosted its very first Torch Runs. 5 legs, 99 officers from 14 agencies, all coming together for one purpose.

Together, they raised $2,057.10.

What started as a small effort has grown into a unified, statewide tradition, bringing together 43 legs, 272 officers, 52 agencies, 318 family members and community supporters, and 211 athletes.

Together, we are raising awareness, building acceptance, and generating over $40,000 in resources each year through our Torch Run legs.
