Please join us in welcoming Courtney Sargent as Lifesteps new Director of Assistive Technology!

Courtney brings a strong blend of clinical expertise, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience to this role. She holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Technology and is a Certified Assistive Technology Professional, with years of experience evaluating individual needs and developing customized mobility and access solutions. Her background includes working closely with a durable medical equipment provider, as well as clinical experience in inpatient stroke and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

Courtney has also served as a program instructor and specialist supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, an experience that aligns closely with Lifesteps’ mission.

Outside of work, Courtney is a professional tackle football player with the Pittsburgh Passion and enjoys staying active through camping, hiking, and exploring new places.

We’re excited to have her leadership, passion, and expertise strengthening our Assistive Technology services and supporting individuals of all abilities.
