Due to the Code Red Air Quality from the Canada wildfires, we will not be able to be set up at the Petrolia Market in the Park today. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but we want the public to also stay safe and indoors. We'll see you there next Thursday, with even more fresh produce from our own gardens!

Zucchini season has begun, and we are going to have A LOT of it. We moved our market inside the building, we'd love to see you and send you home with some zukes ($1 each). Cherry tomatoes should be ready next week, and we have Zucchini bread and onion rolls....

We are all set up at the Butler Library this morning. Come see us for some fresh produce and meats! We will be here until 12:30 (a shorter day today because of the heat).....

Our own greens, zucchini, red onions, and garlic....chicken, and Whitings ground beef and pork chops.....

Today, we were super excited to host the Prospect Library Summer Reading program families. They got a tour of the gardens, got to pet Rosie, and chased some of our resident spiders and frogs.

And look at how big our Zucchini plants are! We also have some giant pumpkins starting out.....maybe we will have a 2000lb pumpkin this year?

Oh, and if you're a fan of our work, we are on the hunt for a few additional board members-we'd love to talk to you about it!

Happy Monday Morning! Our gardens are starting to produce, and we have some varieties you won't find anywhere else. Today we are showcasing our Costata Romanesco Zucchini, an Italian heirloom variety that is low in both water content and seeds, making it easier to cook with. We will have some at both the Butler Library and Petrolia Farmer's Market, and every day at Artisan from 9am-3pm.

We are excited for the start of our mobile farmers market season this year (The Produce Cart) tomorrow at the Petrolia Market in the Park. It will look a little different this year, with some new varieties. We can't wait to see you!
