🎃 TRUNK OR TREAT IS ALMOST HERE! 👻🍬

We're excited for a SPOOKTACULAR evening of Halloween fun! Whether you're decorating a trunk or bringing the kids out for treats, here are a few important details to help make the event a success!

Thursday, October 22
5:00–7:00 PM
Clearview Mall – Parking lot at the front mall entrance for Boscov's, beside Dragon Restaurant.

🚗 FOR OUR TRUNK PARTICIPANTS:

🎃 Please plan to arrive around 4:00 PM, and no later than 4:45 PM. For everyone's safety, we'd like all trunks set up and ready before the event begins.

🎃 Signs and directional arrows will guide you to the designated Trunk or Treat area. If you arrive late, a volunteer will be available to assist you.

🎃 Be prepared for a potentially BIG turnout of up to 1,000 children! Please plan your candy and treats accordingly, and remember to keep all decorations and themes family-friendly.

👻 FOR FAMILIES ATTENDING:

🍬 The fun officially begins at 5:00 PM!

🍬 Please follow event signage and look for our friendly volunteers wearing bright green shirts. They'll be available to help direct you and answer questions.

🍬 We're expecting a great turnout, so there may be a line. Our volunteers will do their best to keep things moving, and we appreciate your patience!

🍬 Please use extra caution when driving through the parking lots, as families may begin arriving early.

🧡 THANK YOU to everyone participating, volunteering, and helping make this a fun and safe community event!

We can't wait to see all the creative trunks, costumes, and smiling faces! 🎃👻

While some time has passed since our 3rd Annual Golf Outing on July 14, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to recognize and thank everyone who made the day possible!

💙 To our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who supported the event, thank you for showing up for the Children's Advocacy Center of Butler County and, more importantly, for the children and families we serve.

Since 2014, our organization has served more than 4,000 children and caregivers. Behind that number are children and families who have used our services during difficult times, seeking support, compassion, and a safe place to begin healing.

Your generosity helps make that possible. From forensic interviews and advocacy to court preparation, comfort items, and a healing-centered space, your support helps ensure children and families have access to the care and resources they need when they need them most.

We're incredibly grateful for a community that continues to stand behind our mission.

Thank you for making our 3rd Annual Golf Outing a success and for helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families throughout Butler County.

🎃 Can you help us get ready for Monster Mash?

We're looking for a little community support as we prepare for our 5th Annual Monster Mash Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 22!

We're hoping to find approximately 30 straw bales (which we can return after the event) or other temporary barriers to help section off the trunk area and create a safe, organized space for the children and families attending.

If you or your business, farm, or organization might be able to help, please send us a message! We'd also appreciate you sharing this post to help us spread the word.

Thank you for helping us make this a fun and memorable evening for more than 900 children!

Pennsylvania is well represented at the National Children's Advocacy Center for the Forensic Interviewer training!

We’ve got amazing people from Butler, Centre, Clearfield, Juniata, and Blair Counties learning the invaluable skill of forensic interviewing. This will ensure kids and teens in PA get the best response to child abuse.

Limiting the traumatic experience of a child abuse investigation starts with the child centered, non-duplicative approach CACs provide!
