Community Cat Network is an all volunteer, grass roots movement to assist Butler County, PA residents in humanely controlling the population of stray and feral kittens and cats, commonly known as community cats. Community Cat Network was formed in 2019 as a grass-roots working group focused on helping to control the population and health of community cats (stray and feral) in Butler County Pennsyl
vania through TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return). Since our inception we have trapped, transported and paid for the spay or neuter of over 125 cats, and have assisted many more with medical care, vaccinations, and food. For those kitties, our funding goes to pay for their medical treatment and ultimate safe return to their outside home. These cats were most likely a pet at some point, but are now roaming free. For these cats, we work hard to have them enter into rescue with local organizations, or with our foster network, where they are also spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and receive any medical care they may need prior to being adopted out as a pet. Our goals are simple, continue to spay, neuter and vaccinate our county's free roaming cats until there is no longer a need. Do you have an interest in volunteering on one of our teams? We have needs for the following:
- Trap-Neuter-Return Members
