Sometimes the best way to help is one meal at a time. ❤️

-A Message from Steiner’s Restaurant & Bar-

Like so many in our community, our hearts are heavy following the recent tragedies that have impacted Butler and the surrounding area.

We mourn alongside the families who have experienced unimaginable loss this past week, and we are deeply grateful for the first responders, dispatchers, law enforcement officers, sheriff’s personnel, EMS crews, firefighters, coroners, investigators, medical professionals, and volunteers who have worked tirelessly in service to others during these difficult days.

Earlier this week, we quietly provided meals to those assisting with the response efforts. We did so not for recognition, but because caring for our community is simply what neighbors do.

As our community continues to heal, we would like to invite our guests and businesses to join us in supporting both the families affected by these tragedies and those who serve our community every day.

Beginning immediately, guests may purchase a $15 Feed a First Responder & Community Support Meal Voucher. Simply ask your server to add a voucher to your ticket while dining with us, or stop by our hostess stand to purchase a voucher at any time.

As they walk thru our doors frequently, these vouchers will be used to provide meals to local first responders, dispatchers, law enforcement personnel, sheriff’s staff, EMS crews, firefighters, coroners, investigators, and families directly impacted by the recent tragedies in our community; not only this week but in the weeks and months ahead.

Additionally, if there are immediate family members of those affected by these tragedies or those serving on the front lines who find themselves in need of a comforting meal this week, we encourage them to reach out to us. Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or a family meal to take home, we would be honored to provide comfort and support however we can.

In times like these, we are reminded that a community is strongest when it comes together. Thank you for continuing to show compassion, kindness, and support for one another.

To every family grieving, every responder serving, and every neighbor lending a hand—we stand with you.

Serving those that serve us. The Bates County elected officials would like to show their support to the first responders that have put in a long emotional week. We will be serving the First Responders that serve our community in the recent tragic events a meal on June 24th at the Elks Lodge to show our appreciation and support.
