The Indiana County Health Care Careers Consortium is excited to announce the release of the 2026 Clinical Readiness Scholarship application. Scholarship awards of $750 will be given to a maximum of four students enrolled at IUP, ICTC, WCCC, or Rapha School who are enrolled in a postsecondary health care education program to cover fees of clinical requirements not included in tuition. Applicants must be an Indiana County resident.

🌾 Explore the world of agriculture this summer with the Indiana County Conservation District! 🌱

Join us for our Summer Agricultural Career Camp — a one-day, hands-on experience where youth ages 13–18 will explore real agricultural careers through behind-the-scenes tours, interactive activities, and visits to farms and local businesses across Indiana County.

Whether you already love agriculture or are just curious about future career opportunities, this camp is a great way to gain experience, meet professionals, and learn more about the many paths within the ag industry!

📍 Meet & pick-up location: Indiana County Conservation District (next to ICTC)

🚌 Transportation during the camp will be provided by bus

On May 19, 2026, the Butler County Manufacturing Consortium hosted the 4th Annual Butler Manufacturing Day event at the Butler Intermediate High School.

High school students from Moniteau and Mars participated in the Student Advisory Board panel, sharing feedback and insights from their manufacturing visits throughout the 2025-26 school year.

During the event, BCMC awarded its $1,000 Manufacturing Scholarship to Max Davis.

Regional manufacturing employers participated in the afternoon's manufacturing showcase. Students visited the employers in the classrooms and hallways of the school to hear about the industry, employment opportunities, and the skills needed for the wide variety of careers that exist in manufacturing.

Last week, the 2026 Armstrong-Indiana Career Fair was held at West Shamokin Jr-Sr High School. Keynote speakers include Dr. Aglio from Penn State, speaking on artificial intelligence in the workforce, Robin Gorman and Colin Maynard from Homer City Generation, Leo Norton from Kiewit, and Sean Steffee from Boilermakers.

Thank you to Armstrong Center for Community Learning for coordinating the event, the partners that assisted with the event, and the 400+ students who participated in the event to learn more about career pathways in the tri-county area.
