Kamp Kaleo Kamp Kaleo is a space for all campers, young and old, to experience the grace and peace of God It's called Kamp Kaleo. Or, as we like to call it, "Home."

On the banks of the North Loup River, just outside of Burwell, NE, is a place of story sharing, soul bearing, friend-making, rest-taking, and general joy and merriment. No matter who you are or where you're coming from, physically or spiritually, you will find welcome and peace at Kaleo. Kamp Kaleo serves as the outdoor ministry and summer camp for both Nebraska Conference of the United Church of

Christ and the Nebraska Region of the Disciples of Christ. We have camps for all ages of people - from "Little Critters" to our Adventures in Community camps, for adults with mental disabilities. A HUGE thank you to this summer's Resource Team!

This is no easy job, but they make it such a fun summer for everyone. They put in long days and work to keep camp running smoothly. From leading crafts and activities to hauling vans and trailers, they're always ready to jump in wherever they're needed.

Our Resource Team also puts in work earning the certifications needed to keep everyone safe on the water. Their dedication and preparation help ensure our campers have fun while staying safe.

Behind the scenes, they do so much more. From cleaning buildings, setting up for camps, organizing supplies, and taking care of the countless details that make each week a success.

This was an incredible group that truly made the summer a breeze. We are so grateful for all of your hard.

Thank you, Emily, Adrian, and Grace, for everything you did this summer. We couldn't have done it without you! 💙

We had an absolute blast with our AIC campers this weekend!

A huge thank you to Sherry Jarvis for bringing her horse and giving campers a hands-on look at different gaits, turns, saddles, and all things horses. It was such a fun and educational experience!

The weekend was filled with camper favorites, including the talent show, games, BINGO, bowling, vespers, and a movie night. There was never a dull moment!

Our campers bring so much joy to camp, and we are so grateful for each one of them. Thank you to all of our campers for joining us, and a special thank you to the companions who came and helped make the weekend so memorable.
