Burton Friends & Neighbors hosted the Burton Park Project Annual Crawfish Boil last night. The event is a fundraiser dedicated to help the community grow through recreational facilities and opportunities for our youth. Thank you to all the table sponsors, auction donors, those who supported the auctions and other fundraising opportunities and last, but not least, the great group of 200+ volunteers.

Our very own, Darrell Kieke, was named 2025 Man of the Year at the Washington County Chamber Banquet last night!! We couldn’t be more proud! Darrell is one of the main driving forces behind Burton Friends and Neighbors. He is the epitome of a servant leader for our community and believes in instilling these values in the youth of our area. Join us in congratulating Darrell!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

As we enter into 2026, we are thrilled to continue being able to provide a safe and maintained park for our community. We wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of a few housekeeping guidelines to keep the space safe.

When using the fields, please remember to close the gates when you leave and make sure the bathroom doors are closed. We are also asking you to use the parking lot to park. Please do not drive your vehicle up to the fields. We want to make sure to protect the water and sewage lines that run underneath. The “Keep Out” sign is merely posted at the park for driving purposes. The park is still open for the community to use.

Welcome to BFN - Burton Park Project page! A little about us - We are a nonprofit organization established in 2002 with the goal of providing a space for the Burton community and surrounding areas to grow through recreational facilities and opportunities. We schedule facility rentals, maintain and improve facilities, and host Little League games and tournaments. The park has something for everyone with a covered playground, accessible walking, a kitchen and pavilion, turfed baseball/softball fields, and sand volleyball court.
