Belonging
There are many who have a deep cry in their heart to belong, to be seen, known, loved, and welcomed without having to earn a place. Many have spent years trying to prove their worth, striving for acceptance, or hiding parts of themselves for fear of rejection.
But the Father's voice is calling today:
"You do not belong because of what you do. You belong because you are Mine."
The Lord is healing orphan-hearted thinking and inviting His people into the security of sons and daughters. He is gathering those who have felt overlooked, misunderstood, disconnected, or on the outside and drawing them into His embrace.
This is a season of coming home.
Not merely coming to a church building, but coming into the family of God. Coming into authentic community. Coming into the rest of being fully loved.
Where shame once whispered, "You don't fit here," God is declaring, "I have prepared a place for you."
Where fear said, "You are alone," God is saying, "You are surrounded by My family."
Where striving said, "You must earn love," God is saying, "Receive what has already been freely given."
Declaration:
Father, we receive Your invitation to belong.
We declare that we are sons and daughters of God.
We reject the lie that we must perform to be accepted.
We break agreement with rejection, isolation, shame, and striving.
We receive the love of the Father, the friendship of Jesus, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
We declare that Restoration Chapel will be a place where people encounter family, healing, and home.
Those who are weary will find rest.
Those who are lonely will find community.
Those who feel unseen will be known.
Those who have wandered will find their way home.
We belong to God. We belong to one another. And we will walk together in love.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are." — 1 John 3:1
