Events like this help the Burton Rotary Club provide scholarships to deserving students in the Burton area. We could not continue this important work without the generosity and support of our community.

At last weeks Burton Rotary Club meeting, Past President Tim Look had the opportunity to present our club with Rotary banners and a special handcrafted gift from the Kyiv-City Rotary Club #83492, District 2230 & District 2232.

Tim recently traveled to Ukraine on a personal mission to learn more about the Ukrainian people and to gain a deeper understanding of how the ongoing war has affected their lives, families, and communities. During his trip, he had the opportunity to meet and spend time with some amazing Rotarians from the Kyiv-City Rotary Club.

Tim is currently preparing a special presentation to share more with our club about his trip, the people he met, and the experiences that made such an impact on him. We look forward to hearing more about his journey and the connections he made along the way.

We are grateful to the members of the Kyiv-City Rotary Club for their friendship, generosity, and this meaningful connection between our clubs.

Rotary has a unique way of bringing people together across communities, countries, and cultures.
