Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups focuses on providing Pregnant Dogs/Mama Dogs with Litter and Pups less than 6 months old a safe and healthy environment to grow. This is our HOBBY. We are a group of friends. Dogs and pups are cared for by our friends who volunteer their time and homes to furnish a family-like habitat for these lovable canines. The majority of us live in Geauga county. We do not have a pu

blic shelter. We normally have between 50 and 100 puppies on any given one day. These mama dogs and pups come to us from owner surrenders and dog shelters throughout Ohio and neighboring States. We will be posting the dogs and pups which we are currently caring for. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions. Please note: We now are a 501c3 organization. Stay tuned for fund raising events. We can always use puppy food, old discarded bedding, and newspapers. You can deduct these donations on your taxes as well as any monetary donations. Introducing Char! She’s an adorable 4-month-old spayed female hound mix who loves being outside. Char gets along well with other dogs and cats, listens well when called, and is mostly housebroken. She does well on a leash for short walks and is getting better every day. She sleeps through the night without needing to go outside to potty, is timid but independent, and does not cry when her people leave the house. Once she warms up to you, she loves to cuddle and gives the best puppy kisses. Char will make a wonderful companion and has so much love to give. Please contact us to learn more about Char!

A SAD 12 TAILS WITH A HAPPY ENDING

How is it possible that a gentle beautiful young soul is found abandoned and pregnant? That was Bella’s situation in Kentucky. A Treeing Walker Coonhound, less than 3 years old, abandoned and discarded when she was found and brought to us.

All seemed well until the delivery, when everything went very wrong. After 24 hours of labor Bella was distressed and exhausted, clearly requiring expert veterinary intervention to survive. Bella was weak and in metabolic distress. She needed intensive supervision and care, delivered by a highly competent loving veterinary team. One by one she was able to deliver her puppies over the next 18 hours. 12 puppies, all survived and are healthy as you can see. She’s the best mom and you a see her immense gratitude in her soulful eyes and affectionate demeanor!

They say that all’s well that ends well. But now we have to pay the bill! Can you contribute to our fund for Bella and her 12 beautiful babies so that we can continue to provide life saving services to mama dogs in need like Bella! Meet Darl and Duke! Duke, the black and white 7 lb little boy is nothing but a love bug who gives you nonstop kisses. Darla, at 8 lbs is a little more sassy, but still very loving and sweet both full of energy. Crate trained, and getting the potty training.

They both love to run and play. They like to explore and see what’s going on. They love to give little puppy kisses and cuddle when it’s nap time. They are really good about going on a p*e pad, still needs work on going outside to potty.

• Bonnie is very energetic and has lots of fun puppy energy! She loves to play with toys and chase her brother around. Bonnie loves to snuggle and follow her human around.

No longer accepting inquiries. Meet George! A hound mix who is looking to be your floppy shadow! George is about 4 months old, neutered, and up to date with shots. He is a large boy and will probably get to be about 60/70 lbs.
He wants nothing more than to be by his people side, following along as you go about your day. He currently weighs 22lbs, sleeps through the night in the crate, and is working hard at potty training. He loves kids and another dogs and would make a great addition to any family!
