Join us this Thursday at 6pm for the November Heritage Society meeting. Our focus on Burton history this meeting will include several examples of historic buildings transformed through the years to live on in new ways. Check out this article written by Burton's own "Sawdust Bill" (Will Weeren) as of October 1969 as he mentions the work happening on the Steiner-Dallmeyer building as it became the Brazos Belle Restaurant. Note his comment... "This is all to say Burton is not dead." As always, he was wonderful at giving readers "food for thought." ;)
