Troop 197G and Troop 197B returned from summer camp at DBar A Ranch in Michigan! They had a lot of fun and completed many merit badges from Firat Aid, cooking, environmental science, to leatherwork, metalwork, basketry, pottery and many more!!! We even completed a service project by cleaning up the human foosball court!

These girls did awesome this weekend! We did a 7 mile full pack hike. This was their first full pack hike and they all did amazing! We even weathered the storms on Saturday night like champs!

Returned yesterday from our first summer camp at Seven Ranges! We had a great time! Many merit badges earned as well as a few rank advancements! Between the boys troop and girls troop we had 6 rank advancements!! All had a good time!

We had an awesome windy day out on Mosquito Lake. We canoed about 9 miles! They did awesome on a lake that was very windy and choppy at times!

Good Turn Weekend at Seven Ranges was a success! Cleared and mulched a few trails! Even learned that scouts need to be prepared to change a flat tire on the trailer on the way home!

We attended Pack 197 Blue Gold ceremony as we had one boy crossing over to the brother troop! We also could not resist getting a picture with the Cub Scout girls!

Spent the weekend at Beaumont Scout Reservation! Went on a beautiful 4 mile hike with the girls and saw this cute little salamander and then we did some tie-dye shirts! Fun weekend
