What an amazing evening yesterday at our very fist CCWNC Evening to Remember Gala 2026. 🎩🎉🏆

The town center was full of an amazing, caring community that was engaged and educated on Hospice and Palliative care matters. We celebrated our team with awards that was voted on by their team peers.

Ms. Della Miller, RN was awarded the CCWNC award for Clinical Excellence.

Ms. Meredith Hammond, LCSW was awarded the CCWNC Above and Beyond award.

Ms. Sandra Grindstaff was awarded the CCWNC award for Administrative Excellence.

Rev. Jody Griffin, MDiv was awarded the CCWNC Top Dog award for the respect and love he garners from his team members.

Our guest speakers Mr. Chris Comeaux and Mr. Tim Rogers told the stories of our team and our patients with great pride and enthusiasm.

Our goal was accomplished and celebrated because of our amazing Compassionate Care WNC team and community.
Many thanks to the CCWNC team and to our community for helping make Friday evening September 25th a special Evening to Remember.

Early morning CCWNC Palliative Care Interdisciplinary Team meeting.

This care team of NP’s, PA’s, Doctors and Social Workers meet weekly to review their patients and their care plans.

They go above and beyond to make sure their patient’s and families have the care and resources needed to live to their full potential daily and make sure they have the comfort and medical care they deserve.

Today CCWNC wishes a heartfelt happy retirement to our past CEO Mr. Ron Gregory. Ron has meant so much to so many of us at Compassionate Care WNC.

He has given over 20yrs of his professional life to our organization and the families we have been privileged to serve.

Ronnie kinda “retired” in 2022 but has been working behind the scenes since then in a support role for our organization. Sharing his years of wisdom and knowledge. Today, he sailed on to the green pastures of complete retirement.

We appreciate all he has done for CCWNC and all of the wisdom and compassion that he has given for so long.

We wish warm blessings and peace to our friend and colleague in his retirement.
Enjoy all of the blessings and journeys that life has to offer Mr. Gregory.
