It was an exciting day at 360 Communities yesterday! 🇺🇦 Fifteen students from Ukraine spent the day at our Burnsville Resource Center to learn "what a nonprofit does." The group arrived in Minnesota in early August for a month-long leadership program, sponsored by YouLEAD (Youth Leadership Engagement and Development Program) based in Maplewood, MN.

Our staff hosted a potluck and spoke with the students about 360 Communities' programs, our mission, and our community impact. Big thanks to our Community Educator, Grace Verbrugge, for connecting us to Global Synergy Group and being a mentor for the students while they're here in Minnesota.

FREE Community Food Distribution - Fridays in Burnsville! 🥕

📍 501 E Highway 13, Suite 112, Burnsville, MN 55337

360 Communities is giving away variety boxes of rescue food at our Burnsville Food Shelf on Friday mornings. We will start at 10:30 AM and continue until we run out.

Please drive around to the back of the building and wait in your car. A volunteer will bring your requested boxes to your vehicle.

Our Friday Community Food Distribution is made possible by volunteers who sort and pack quality food donated by local grocery stores and businesses each week. Boxes may include fresh produce, bakery items, dairy, snacks, and other grocery products. Selection varies each week and is available while supplies last.

Because these items are rescued from local grocery stores, some products may be at or beyond their "best by" date. Our volunteers carefully inspect every item, and we only distribute food that we would feel comfortable serving to our own families.

All are welcome. ❤️ No pre-registration is required.

360 Communities' Burnsville Resource Center is open 9 am - 4 pm Monday through Thursday. To contact us or set up a food shelf appointment, please call (952) 985-5300.

Big thanks to everyone who joined us at the Minnesota Twins game last night to support Domestic Violence Awareness! 💜

We stood side by side with several other local organizations that support victims and survivors in Minnesota. Thank you to the MN Twins for acknowledging this important issue and donating a portion of each ticket sale toward funding the work we do. 🙏

FINAL WEEK! Ending September 2nd. Stop by 360 Communities' Resource Centers in Burnsville and Rosemount for free fresh produce! 🥕 🫑 🍅

On Tuesday 9/1 in Rosemount, we are hosting a farmers' market-style event where you can choose free fruits and veggies for your family. On Wednesday 9/2 in Burnsville, we're offering a drive-thru model where volunteers will deliver the produce to your vehicle.

Tuesday, September 1st

PLEASE SHARE 💜 Lewis House donations needed. 💜 Gas cards and gift cards go a long way toward helping someone who may have left home with very little.

The highest needs right now are:

* Gas cards
* Uber/Lyft gift cards
* Target/Walmart gift cards
* Visa gift cards

Gas cards and Uber/Lyft gift cards help people get to and from work or hospital visits. Target/Walmart/Visa gift cards help with toiletries, medication, clothing, and other basic necessities someone may need while escaping abuse.

Last week, the Wings Credit Union Foundation announced a $250,000 commitment to 360 Communities. Jeff Mortensen, President and CEO of 360 Communities, spoke about how this donation will help with our mission to build a new and expanded emergency shelter in Dakota County. 💜
