Join us next Tuesday, October 20th, as we celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of FOUND AGAIN, a new vintage shop in downtown Burnsville!

Located at 112 W. Main Street (the purple building, formerly Tulsi Rose Tea), Found Again offers a little something for everyone, from antiques and vintage finds to unique gifts, collectibles and memorabilia. Every visit is a treasure hunt!

The shop opens at 10 AM, and we'll be celebrating with a ribbon cutting shortly after!

Stop by, explore the shop and help us welcome Found Again to downtown Burnsville!

We’re out at the Old Timey Fall Festival! 🍂

Stop by the Yancey Chamber booth while you’re downtown, say hello and enter our raffle for a basket packed with goodies from local businesses!

🎟️ $5 for 1 ticket or $20 for 5 tickets
🎉 Drawing at 4 p.m. Saturday!

Raffle proceeds will support the Chamber’s Small Business Support Fund, helping provide resources, supplies and other support for local small businesses.

Join AMY Wellness Foundation, Chief Cares Foundation, and the Town of Burnsville this Sunday, September 27th, for Resilience – Remembrance – Recovery: Commemorating the 2-Year Anniversary of Hurricane Helene.

The afternoon will honor those we lost, recognize those still rebuilding, and thank the first responders, volunteers, organizations, businesses, and neighbors who have helped our community recover.

⏰ 2–6 p.m.
📍 Bailey Square in downtown Burnsville
🎟️ Free and open to the public

The event will include special remarks and presentations, recognition of Mountain Heritage High School's CTE students and their recovery work, live music from Lesa Autrey Band and Abby Bryant, food trucks, and more.

Two years later, the work continues - and so does the resilience of Yancey County and Western North Carolina. We hope you’ll join our community for this meaningful afternoon.
