June is Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) Awareness Month. πŸ’™

Pelvic Organ Prolapse occurs when weakened pelvic floor muscles and connective tissues allow pelvic organs to bulge into the va**na. Factors such as childbirth trauma, genetic predisposition, chronic constipation, and persistent coughing can contribute to the condition.

Awareness, prevention, and early care matter. While not all risk factors can be prevented, healthy lifestyle choices may help reduce risk and support symptom management.

Together, we can help increase understanding of POP and support women’s pelvic health worldwide.
