The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jacob Lee Mieger, age 33 of Redding. Mieger is wanted on numerous outstanding warrants and has been involved in several incidents over the past few months, including burglary and stolen property from the Lakehead area. Mieger is a convicted felon and known to be in possession of fi****ms. Members of the public should not attempt to contact or apprehend Mieger. Up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) that struck and subsequently killed victim Jon W. Muncy, 53, as he was riding his bicycle southbound on Riverland Drive near Riverland Mobile Home Park, in Redding, CA. The crime occurred November 22, 2010 at 6:30 pm. Muncy was struck from the rear and the unknown vehicle fled the scene, apparently without stopping. Muncy was critically injured and later died from his injuries.

On Thursday July 02, 2015, around 5:24 am, Matthew Graham reported his 6-month daughter, Ember Graham, missing from her crib. Ember was reportedly last seen by Matthew Graham, at approximately 11:00 pm Wednesday, July 01, 2015. At that time, Matthew said he went to sleep and awoke the next morning shortly after 5:00 am and found his daughter, Ember, was no longer inside her crib and the door to his residence was open. Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Search and Rescue Team, along with the Child Abduction Response Unit have been tirelessly investigating this case and searching for Ember.
