We are the Humans of BHS and WE want to show YOU who Burlington High School is. People create their identities in uncountable ways, through their culture, their appearance, their family, their dreams, and so much more. But society manages to scribble it all out with its negative stereotypes, throwing each individual identity into a box that seems nearly inescapable. Our goal is to pick apart those

stereotypes and shine a spotlight on to those who want a world free of society’s boxes, to understand and embrace one another for our chosen identities, and ultimately, to respect those identities with an open mind. Are. Humans.
