Two FEMA-supported COVID-19 vaccination sites will open in Alamance County at the CityGate Dream Center and Eric Lane, this Friday (March 19th). Each location will operate 4 days a week (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays) with the capacity to provide up to 300 vaccinations per day, a total of 600 vaccinations combined for both sites. The sites in Alamance County will offer Pfizer vaccines, which will require two doses spaced about 3 weeks apart. Appointments are available now for Groups 1, 2, or 3, including frontline essential workers, people age 65 and older, health care workers and long-term care residents, and people in Group 4 who have a medical condition that puts them at higher risk of severe COVID-19 illness and those who live in certain congregate settings.

Together, we can make sure that those who have been most impacted by the pandemic - Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian/Native American, immigrants, refugees, and people with disabilities have an opportunity to get a vaccine. Our goal is to make sure at least 75% of vaccines distributed at these sites are given to these communities.
• Appointments for each day can be made online using the links listed below and through the following phone numbers:
o Phone number for English speakers: 336.890.1188.
o Phone number for Spanish speakers: 336-890-3792
• The Dream Center can also register people who come into their building during the day.
• As one of our Community Partners, it would be very helpful if you would please either:
o Share these links with community members so they can schedule themselves or;
o Help schedule on behalf of individuals who may need help with scheduling.
Locations:
• Dream Center: 1423 N. Church Street, Burlington, NC 27217
• Eric Lane: JR Cigar Parking Lot, 2589 Eric Lane, Burlington, NC 27215
Transportation Support:
A bus stop has been added for the Link Bus to stop at the Dream Center starting March 19th. The transit team will post a bus stop sign opposite the Dream Center on Bowden@Willow Avenue.
Please advise anyone wanting to go to the Dream Center to let the Link driver know and they will not be charged a fare. The shuttle will leave from the Worth Street hub and provide service to the Dream Center. All Link routes connect at the Worth St hub so any passenger using the Link System can get to the Dream Center. It is on a 1hour 40 min+/- schedule on average which seems to be enough time for the vaccination process to complete.
