I think every parent or caregiver feels some amount of relief when it gets to be 'Back to school' time. That feeling is something that we may hesitate to talk about out of fear that people will take it negatively. The truth is back to school also means back to routines, back to (hopefully) less childcare issues, and I'll come right out and say it; maybe a bit of a break from these kids! Let's face it folks, we can love them to pieces and still need a break, we're all human!

This blog post will give you some ideas about back to school time from a more trauma informed perspective.
